Position: Backend Automation Engineer

Location: Fairfax, VA (Remote to start)

 

Must have Skills : API Testing (Strong)

 

Job Description :

  • Backend Automation Engineer Develop Data Quality Assurance Plan that identifies the test strategy and test cases to ensure the quality of data across multiple systems. The plan will need to identify automated processes to complete the test executions.
  • Responsible for identifying deficiencies in data quality, sources of those deficiencies, potential mitigations, and constraints associated with those mitigations.
  • Identify and report metrics to track data quality. Develop automated monitors and reports of data quality metrics.
  • Work with development and data engineers to troubleshoot critical production issues.
  • Work as a scrum team member in a highly creative and collaborative agile environment

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in performing API testing
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science related field, with 5+ years’ experience
  • Proven track record of working independently to define test cases and executing tests to find defects in processes/system being tested
  • Demonstrated experience showing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills paired with a desire to take initiative
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced nature of a high-growth organization Must be a critical thinker and self-starter
