Skillset Requirement
6+ years of experience in building data pipelines in Azure (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Data Flow, Azure Synapse, Synapse Pipelines, Databricks, etc.)
Development experience with Power BI, Tableau Experience implementing Lamda and Kappa architectures
Experience consuming data in disparate formats (relational databases, document databases, EDI files, and stream JSON processes)
Must have experience migrating on-premise Data Warehouse to Azure
Must be good with Data Warehousing, Data Lake, ETL/ELT concepts and related design patterns
Can manage offshore resources and help them with their deliverables Must be independent and self-starter.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product owners, systems analysts and software engineers to deliver against an agile roadmap of analytics initiatives to support business stakeholders in a self-service environment leveraging both on-prem and MS Azure platforms.
- Design, develop, test and maintain data intensive applications including ETL, relational and non-relational data storage.
- Build and maintain configuration management and automation tools, deployment strategies/processes, monitoring tools.
- Experienced in Software Engineering practices like Deployment planning, Fault Tolerant architecture, Test Automation.
- Collaborate on quality strategies that ensure our data platform is correct, resilient, scalable and secure
- Participate in defect review and triage
- Adhere to design/coding standards and constantly improve the way we build and deliver

- Drive continuous improvement and automation of BI solutions and processes.
- Maintain the production BI products, solutions, documentation and environments to ensure optimal health, including resolving production issues and responding quickly to priority problems.
Create Data Platform, Analytics and AI roadmaps, and ensure long term technical viability of new deployments, infusing key analytics technologies where appropriate
