Qualifications:
· At least 3 years of relevant experience
· Broad understanding of database technologies, BI tools, and general engineering.
· Hands on experience and expertise with various big data technologies in AWS and Azure.
· Significant experience designing and implementing large-scale data intensive applications and data lakes.
· Experience in migrating large scale data intensive applications from on-prem to Azure and/or AWS
· Experience and solid understanding of products such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL and Azure Synapse as well as other products in Azure Data suite
· Expertise and experience in querying data using both SQL and NoSQL
· Knowledge of Data Security, Data Masking and Data Encryption techniques
· Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging platforms is a plus
· Strong understanding of WAN, VPN and Enterprise networking concepts
· Strong understanding of data security concepts and methods, specific to Azure-hosted workloads
· Experience automating IT processes and in particular with Terraform for managing cloud resources
· Experience creating technical architecture documentation
· Strong communication, written, and interpersonal skills
