Role - Sr. AWS Devops // Cloud Architect

Location - San Francisco, CA // INITIALLY REMOTE

Duration - FULL TIME

Description:

· AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification required.

· Subject Matter Expert in:

· AWS Networking - VPC, VPC Peering, Routing, Gateways, Subnets, Load Balancers, Route 53

· AWS Security - IAM, Network ACLs, Security Groups, Ports

· AWS Compute - EC2, Lambda, EKS, ECR

· AWS Storage - S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier

· AWS Monitoring & Logging – Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail

· Others – Elasticache, Cloud Formation, Cloud Front, SNS, Systems Manager

· Experience in Infrastructure-As-Code Services or Tools such as Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible.

· Advanced knowledge of system patching and upgrade processes and technologies.

· Advanced knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tool chains. Jenkins is key.

· Experience in EKS admin

· Linux experience with hands-on scripting experience in Shell, Python, PHP

· Managing AWS Cloud hosting BigData solutions such as Hadoop is highly preferred.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Experience leading a team of 5-10 AWS support engineers in a Multi-shore model is highly preferred.
