AWS Cloud Delivery Lead
Duration: 10 Months +
Location: New York, NY/Remote
Citizenship required by federal contract.
Consultant must open to considering a perm offer at end of contract period.

Skills:

Requirements:
•    Lead a team of onshore resources to support successful on-time & high-quality delivery of the PLDT Accelerator Lab (PAL), a technology incubation platform deployed on RTX XetaCloud (AWS Gov Cloud).
•    Oversee new technology deployments as well as maintenance, enhancements, system upgrades and troubleshooting with an extreme focus on customer experience.
•    Demonstrated soft skills required for the presentation of ideas and concepts to stakeholders such as vendors, end users and senior management.
•    Excellent verbal, written, communication, presentation and negotiations skills
•    Strong customer service approach
•    Ability to collaborate and work well with others
•    Ability to engage vendor support on technical and functional issues
•    Ability to escalate issues properly and in a timely fashion
•    Ability to troubleshoot / solve complex problems
•    Ability to multi-task, to support multiple customers, and to work within specific schedule and cost constraints
•    Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels
•    Ability to work and collaborate in virtual environment where team members are not co-located.
•    Self-motivated and able to function with minimal oversight

Deliverables:
Engage and consult with Model-Based Digital Thread Process Capability Center (MBDT PCC) / Product Lifecycle Digital Thread (PLDT) team on requirements for technology deployments into the (EIS) and Global Trade organizations.
Act in role of Product Owner (PO) / Scrum Master (SM) to define the agile backlog, manage the sprint execution, prepare the System Demo, run the Retrospective and report out agile metrics for the Deployment team.
Manage the PAL release schedule and execution of changes / upgrades / enhancements to ensure SLA commitments are met or exceeded

Acceptance Criteria:
•    Strong technical background in AWS Cloud deployments and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles, including
o    Broad-based understanding of cloud platform services, cloud-native architectures, and cloud infrastructure, especially Amazon Web Services
o    Experience with Cloud design patterns and distributed computing concepts
o    Experience with scripting (i.e., bash, Java Script, Node JS, Python, etc.)
o    Strong knowledge of languages used for infrastructure as code (JSON, YAML, Ruby, C++, SQL)
o    Experience working with REST API based services
o    Experience with Operating Systems (Windows and Linux variants) and networking security concepts
•    Practical knowledge of Agile project management and software development methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
•    Available to support off-shift system support
•    Exposure to IT arena and bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of work experience and schooling in lieu of degree
•    Knowledge of Foundational Platforms associated with Product Lifecycle strongly preferred (e.g. Product Lifecycle Managers, Simulation Lifecycle Managers, Requirements Managers, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning, etc.) 
•    Candidate must be a US Person due to requirement to administer GovCloud infrastructure
