· Minimum of 10 years of combined hands-on experience as DevOps engineer
· Experience with AWS Cloud Services
· Prior hands-on experience in a key contributing role for a large DevOps transformation
· Strong experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
· Programming and scripting proficiency: Bash, Python
· Hands on experience with Infrastructure-as-code and config tools such as Terraform and Ansible/Chef, Ansible Tower experience is a Bonus.
· Experience in Automated Testing and testing frameworks (Bonus points for having experience writing security unit tests)
· Experience with security automation throughout CI/CD lifecycle
· Experience with Azure DevOps is a Bonus
· Working understanding of Deployment Strategies and Patterns including Blue/Green Deployment, Canary Releases, and Rolling Releases
· Solid understanding of cloud native development patterns and microservices architecture
· Strong working knowledge of building, deploying, and securing containers and Kubernetes (bonus points for having production Kubernetes experience, CKAD/CKA/CKS certified)
· Experience with Services Mesh
· Experience with secrets management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault
· Understanding of service-oriented architecture (REST APIs, micro-services, etc) and security best practices
· Experience with on-premises infrastructure as well as public and hybrid cloud methodologies
· Must have excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of professionalism and the ability to design technology solutions for commercial and large enterprise companies
· Excellent presentation and communication skills required
