AWS/AZURE CLOUD Lead Job – Remote, Work from home available
GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. Client: CORTEVA
2. Title: AWS or AZURE – CLOUD DELIVERY LEAD
3. Client location: DES MOINES - REMOTE UNTIL PANDEMIC
4. Job option: Remote, Work from home job till COVID situation settles. Candidates may continue working on-site or end the job after covid
5. RATE : $60/HR – Fixed and Non-negotiable
6. Priority: Very High

9. Interviews: Telephonic and then Video call

12. Project: Cloud Engineering Team
13. Job purpose: Serve as Delivery Lead for a Delivery team and a Support team
14. Total experience: Must be atleast 10 years visible on the resume to get client attention for interviews
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration required
2. 3-5 years of technology implementation experience in a customer-facing environment
3. Strong interpersonal communication skills
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
5. Prior experience in a technical delivery lead role
6. Azure, AWS or related cloud platform experience
7. Hands on experience in agile methodologies including scrum
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Experience developing standard operating procedures & processes
2. Familiar with work intake, ticketing and queuing mechanism
3. Drive agile best practices with team members, regular ceremony cadence, healthy backlog, testable stories, etc.
4. Experience with DevSecOps principles to implement automation and continuous integration
5. Familiarity with prominent Infrastructure as Code tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, Ansible, etc.
6. Ability to translate requirements into a technical design leveraging existing tools, services, and frameworks
7. Oversee continuous improvement of Cloud Engineer Team’s environments and processes
8. Empower product engineering teams to take on as much production ownership for their services as possible through tooling and automation, leveraging your expertise in Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and zero downtime deployment methodologies, to maximize the velocity and efficiency of our development and deployment processes
DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES:
1. Provides day-to-day administrative direction and oversight of key technology/information systems and general support activities
2. Exemplify the team''s culture of continuous improvement through research, retrospectives, discussion groups, and code reviews
3. Establish yourself as a platform subject matter expert, providing hands on support and escalation for Engineering and Cloud Engineering Team members
4. Champion continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity; coach organization to conduct continuous improvement events
5. You have a keen eye for delivery issues and risks, and a sense of urgency for removing blocks and driving continuous improvement
6. Ability to recognize healthy team dynamics and know how to coach and grow a high-performing team
7. Communicate organizational impediments to leadership; clear impediments for the team.
