This position can be located anywhere in the United States however the preferred location is Houston, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable. The Client anticipates accepting applications for this position through March 08, 2024.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Solve issues with the system (if necessary) or pass the question on to the project team or the CGI MES Service Desk
  • Train the end users and key users for using A1PE.
    • Create plots.
    • Create graphics.
  • Assist the project team by installing the AspenTech systems remotely.
  • Migrate several SQL server databases using basic SQL Server knowledge.
  • On-site for 4 weeks to be in close contact with the client team. Includes:
    • Final Transition.
    • Install CIMIO servers.
  • Train end users and key users.
  • Answer questions from the internal Avient validation team.
  • Demonstrate the correct working of the system.

  • Help document the new system for handover to the support team / Service Desk.

Required Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of AspenTech InfoPlus.21 Historians, including
o Installation (according to manuals)
IP21 (server)
A1PE (server)
AIF (AspenTech Integration Framework) Server (ADSA, AFW, License server (SLM), Audit and Compliance)
CIMIO server (redundant)
o Configuration
o Upgrade IP21 database.
