Job Position: Application Security Testing/Penetration Testing
Job Location: Bethpage,NY and Austin,TX
Job Duration: Full Time
Job Responsibilities :
Roles & Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Security reviews and testing of web apps, including working with other teams to resolve findings and get approvals.
Building, maintaining and using tools to manage application security and compliance posture using e.g. Splunk, Python, NodeJS, Java, XML, JSON, YAML
Thorough understanding of:
OWASP Top 10 Risks: causes + mitigation
SQL DBs, query syntax, DML vs DDL, basic architectural and security concepts
Apache HTTP, Tomcat configuration and use especially with respect to security features
Networking, especially L3 CIDR + L2 VLANs
web apps
VIPs
WAF
SSL
x509 certs
PKI concepts, implementations and applications
Good working knowledge of:
OpenSSL
SSO
LDAP
Wireshark and/or BurpSuite and/or TCP dump
Ability to:
Think critically
Analyze problems systematically
