Application Support Analyst

Job Summary:
In this role, you'll be the go-to person for our users, providing exceptional support for Citrix XenApp and virtual desktop solutions. You'll troubleshoot a wide range of application issues, ensuring our users have a seamless and productive experience. Your knowledge of VMware will be a valuable asset as well.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to users experiencing issues with Citrix XenApp and virtual desktops
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of application problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., development, infrastructure) to resolve complex issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Document procedures and maintain clear knowledge base articles to empower both users and fellow analysts
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Citrix XenApp and virtual desktop technologies, applying your knowledge to optimize our environment
  • Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a Citrix and/or virtual desktop environment
  • Strong understanding of Citrix XenApp and its functionalities
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve application issues efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to users in a clear and concise manner
  • A customer-centric approach with a commitment to providing exceptional service and exceeding user expectations
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of VMware vSphere and related technologies (a plus)
