This is a unique role on a small team where you'll have a lot of ownership and responsibilities over the solutions developed. An ideal candidate will be productive in a fast-paced environment and excited to collaborate every day to build well designed and reliable software.
Responsibilities and duties:
* Work closely with our team to develop tools in Python or Java
* Exposure to deep technical problems, quantitative analysis, and how markets work
* Design, build and maintain highly available and resilient software that will be deployed in the data platform
* Develop Python analytics that brings simplicity to complicated market data
* Acquire and process large amounts of data using Python
* Design databases to import data that can later be processed using analytics
* Integrate python tools to geospatial analysis
* Help improve our custom user interface helping users to dive into the data
* Full-stack development from backend to user interfaces
What You Need for this Position
QUALIFICATIONS
* Passion for developing software, learning technologies, and advanced software design principles
* Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
* Background in developing high-performance, multi-threaded applications.
* Programming 3 to 5 years' experience in Java, Python
* Knowledge of statistics, applied math or analytical problem solving is a plus
