Role: Appian Developer
Location: Iowa (Onsite)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Appian Developer with deep hands-on experience across the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end Appian applications. This role requires someone who can work independently, follow best practices, and deliver scalable, high-quality business process solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable applications using the Appian BPM platform.
  • Work across the entire Appian stack, including process models, interfaces, data management, integrations, and security.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective Appian solutions.
  • Optimize existing Appian applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot issues, provide technical guidance, and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Follow Appian and software development best practices to maintain high code quality.
  • Participate in solution architecture discussions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 1 2 years of hands-on experience developing applications on the Appian platform.
  • 3 5 years of experience in RPA (Robotic Process Automation).
  • Proven expertise with Appian objects, SAIL interfaces, Process Models, Record Types, CDTs, and Appian Plug-ins.
  • Experience integrating Appian with external systems using Web APIs, REST, or SOAP services.
  • Strong understanding of Appian architecture, configurations, and deployment processes.
  • Ability to independently design and deliver complex Appian-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Appian Certification (Appian Certified Associate / Senior Developer) preferred.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of Java, SQL, or other integration technologies.
