Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineering Lead Specialist to guide the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning solutions. This role involves leading technical teams, architecting scalable AI systems, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver enterprise-level AI initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks, model engineering, and cloud-based AI platforms, along with proven leadership abilities in complex project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning applications for enterprise use.

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of AI solutions, including data exploration, model development, testing, validation, and production deployment.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data scientists, engineers, and development teams.

  • Work closely with business leaders to identify AI use cases and translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Evaluate new AI technologies, tools, frameworks, and best practices to optimize development approaches.

  • Build scalable and efficient pipelines for data processing, training, and model monitoring.

  • Ensure AI solutions meet performance, security, ethical, and compliance standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical roadblocks and lead improvement strategies.

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and cross-team alignment for successful execution.

  • Prepare documentation, design specifications, and solution architecture diagrams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML projects.

  • Strong expertise with machine learning algorithms, deep learning, generative AI, and NLP or computer vision.

  • Hands-on experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn.

  • Experience deploying models to production using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Proficiency in Python and additional programming languages such as Java or C++ is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of data architecture, feature engineering, MLOps CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with version control, automated model monitoring, and performance tuning.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking with the ability to lead complex initiatives.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
