Job Title: AI Engineer Location: White plains, NY Duration: Long term Pre-requisites Bachelor's degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Computer Science. 5 years of consolidated work experience in any of the Data Science domain. Mandatory Skills Professional Experience: Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress Analyzing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets. Identifying differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world Verifying data quality, and/or ensuring it via data cleaning Defining the preprocessing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset Training models and tuning their hyperparameters Analyzing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them Knowledge of Statistical Analysis techniques for e.g. Cluster Analysis, Factor analysis, Regression and other modeling approaches. Proficiency with statistical computer languages such as Python/R/SparkML Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or TensorFlow) Fair knowledge on any RDBMS (MySQL / Oracle /MS SQL) Preferred Skills Professional & Technical Skills Exposure to reporting / BI solutions using tools such as SSRS / Business Objects, QlikView /Tableau /Power BI Exposure to Big Data technologies Exposure to Cognitive Services Research Skills Need to be proactive towards research & POC implementation
