Job Description :
Role: AEM Lead
Duration : 3+ Months contract
Location : Irvine, CA
Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web applications, frameworks and deployment stack) for delivering company''s services
Work with Project Managers to clarify the project scope and requirements.
Work with Client Servicing team and Project Managers to define the technical aspects of the project, including design and build
Guide Team Leads to draw up a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements
Participate in regular architecture, schedule and milestone reviews
Be the focal point for all technical issues and initiatives of the company
Check whether all components of the technical architecture are properly implemented and ensure rectification where necessary
Resolve technical problems
Manage risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture
Keep up to date with advancements in latest technologies
Understand the technology evolution in the industry and plan for feasible technology evolution for the organisation
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a technical discipline preferred (e.g., engineering) or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of hands on Java & J2EE/JEE software development experience with minimum of 4 years of hands on experience on AEM.
Minimum of 3 years of AEM Architect experience Knowledge
Experience in systems integration and development, package implementation, and/or interactive design
Experience as a manager of a small team
Experience working with Adobe AEM (CQ)
Front End technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS, Angular JS, CSS Preprocessing, Responsive Design
Experience with one or more Java concepts and patterns including: Java/J2EE, JSP, Spring, Sling, JMS, JUnit, AOP, MVC, Eclipse
Experience and full lifecycle involvement with both waterfall and Agile methodologies
Experience with multiple source control systems: CVS, SVN, Git
Working knowledge of multiple web and application tier technologies: Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, Apache Http, Spring tcServer, Solr, open source packages
Experience with web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object oriented design
