Job Description:
This hands-on role will work within a dynamic, collaborative, team-oriented=
environment, to lead a group of highly skilled front-end developers to des=
ign and implement high-quality components and solutions within the A e Ex=
perience Manager (AEM) platform. The role requires both broad and deep tec=
hnical knowledge and the ability to develop AEM solutions by working in loc=
k step with architects, engineers, business and technical analysts, develop=
er and testers to implement creative solutions that leverage the capabiliti=
es of the platform, support reusability and scalability and drive a consist=
ent user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the front-end technical design, development, code reviews for Ado=
be Experience Manager Sites, and Forms) solutions
* Hands-on coding of reusable AEM components using modern front-end technol=
ogies including: Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, SAAS, etc.
* Leading FED developers, onshore and offshore
* Providing technical guidance and mentorship to the team on software devel=
opment best practices using clean code, solid architecture and craftsmanshi=
p
* Working with business and technical analysts to translate creative design=
s into functional requirements and technical designs
* Integrating RESTful APIs and third-party systems as part of the overall a=
rchitecture
* Maintaining a modular and reusable component library and standards for ne=
w creative designs
Required Skills:
* 8+ years of Experience in full cycle FED implementations.
* 6+ years of front-end development using JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, =
SAAS, HTML, CSS.
* 3+ years of experience writing Unit tests leveraging the Jest framework
* Experience with build automation using Maven and Maven release process
* 3+ years executing projects using Agile Methodologies and tooling such as=
Rally/Jira
* Hands-on development experience with A e Experience Manager, Client Lib=
raries, and the Style System
* Expert in front end integrations with REST APIs
* Expertise in unit testing leveraging the Jest framework
* Experience creating email compatible markup
* Expertise with secure coding best practices
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with tools like Rally, JIRA etc.
* AEM Certifications
