Must have SQL Server/MS-SQL scripting and Databricks expertise within Medicaid/Healthcare.
The Advisor Application's Designer will support business intelligence and data science migration and build strategies that deliver comprehensive data models for actionable data reporting and analysis within healthcare for functional, business leaders, and team members.
Under general direction, the Advisor Application s Designer will be responsible for designing and/or creating, maintaining, deploying, and managing Databricks and SQL applications for internal business teams and our customers. Candidates will work collaboratively with IT staff, and business stakeholders to create, maintain, and support ETL packages in a compliant, regulated environment. Escalate concerns to project management or Team Lead, assist in determining best practices and provide suggestions on how to improve current practices.
Your role in our mission
Participate in JAD (Joint Application Design), RAD (Rapid Application Development) and DSD (Design Specifications Document) sessions to define and understand the business requirements and present detailed systems design documentation for reports, data interface files, data conversion and any other method of data exchange.
Develop, test, and manage Databricks/SQL, Tableau, PySpark packages from development server to production server using package configuration.
Diagnose and resolve incident tickets and errors.
Develop ETL specifications, data mapping and other documentation required for ETL development.
Use SQL, data models, data element dictionary and schema to perform data and business analysis.
Ability to design and improve web services supporting user access and work product transfer.
Establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.
Support Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, End-to-End System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
What we are looking for
1. 9 years of experience with SQL Server/MS-SQL scripting and Databricks expertise within Medicaid / Healthcare.
2. Ability to design, build and test complex queries which create useful reports using SQL.
3. Analytical data analysis and presentation skills using AI Assistant and Tableau.
4. AWS and Databricks Cloud design and development, maintenance, security, and data migration experience.
5. Excellent client, partner, team, verbal, and written communication skills.
Recommended Additional Skills/Experience
Experience in Healthcare IT working with claims, member, and provider data.
Experience working with AWS cloud services: EC2, S3, RDS, and Glacier.
Experience creating Logical and Physical data models and documentation.
Experience with Data mining, Data Science, and Predictive analytics is a plus.
Ability to abide by Client policies.
Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, and customers.
Design and guide other developers on complicated interfaces and should have strong debugging skills.
