                                                                             Advanced Analytics Analyst Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States   POSITION SUMMARY    Our Client is looking for an experienced Advanced Analytics Analyst to work with our customers to understand their strategic goals and develop custom analytics solutions. We use a wide variety of analytics, ranging from traditional descriptive analytics to more complex Machine Learning techniques, in order to solve our customers' hardest marketing and sales challenges. The ideal candidate is someone with both advanced technical skills  and  a well-developed business sense that enables them to identify customer needs  and  communicate analytical results in a non-technical way. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have  experience manipulating life sciences  syndicated commercial data (such as Symphony or IQVIA) and will have worked in a sales and marketing analytics function.      RESPONSIBILITIES  Executing analytics projects:  Developing innovative analytical solutions to help answer key business questions Exploring the available data with descriptive analytics Building analytics logic to augment the functionality of the core software suite Collaborating with the data science team to deliver machine learning-focused projects Communicating  and  refining the results with customers   Supporting broader capability development by codifying anonymized case studies, building standardized analytical approaches, and informing product enhancements  REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCES  Undergraduate degree in quantitative field 3+ years experience in an analytics-based consulting role, exploring large data sets in order to answer strategic questions for customers (either as an internal analyst or external consultant) Advanced SQL experience and/or extensive familiarity with languages such as Python or R Experience developing machine learning solutions and making their results accessible to non-technical audiences Experience in building strategic, impactful, business-driven insights from data Strong written  and  verbal communication skills Comfort in working with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, loosely structured startup environment  NICE TO HAVE  Life science commercial strategy experience Customer-facing experience, including managing project requirements  and  communicating project results Experience with life science-specific data sources (IMS/IQVIA, Symphony, Veeva, etc Experience delivering SaaS software to customers
