Title : Cloud Platform Architect
Location : Peapack, NJ
Duration : 12 months Contract
Technical/Functional Skills :
10+ Years of experience with Linux OS and Linux based data platforms and automation
Experience building platforms for data management for Pharma domain is desirable
Atleast one AWS Certification is mandatory
Candidates with certification in Ansible, Linux OS Admin, Python, Containers will be preferred over others
Exposure to Hadoop – Atleast one project experience with Hadoop ecosystem technologies (Infrastructure and Administration focused)
Experience with Python Programming (Ability to program and review others python programming)
Experience with Containers Docker / Kubernetes, AWS EKS, GKE
Experience with Automation - Ansible, Shelling Scripting, Python
Experience in building the framework using open source and cloud-based tools
Experience in building solutions with backup, recovery, disaster recovery and security perspective
Ability to performance tune across technology layers and doing root cause analysis
Product development mind set to bring expected features in solution and ability to define technical, performance, usability and other non-functional requirements
Experience with DevOps and automation tools
Experience with AWS IAM Security
Understanding of Industry Standards and Best Practices (ITIL, TOGAF, Agile, Etc
Roles & Responsibilities :
Candidate will be working as Cloud Platform Architect in Pharmaceutical customer
Understanding various data platform & automation needs across R&D, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing domains
Writing designs documents, comparison documents, Point of view documents, Standard Operating procedure etc.,
Tools Installation, configuration, automation (using Ansible and other tools)
Security integration and interoperability across various tools with in platform and with enterprise environment like
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to communicate with senior customer stakeholders
Cost optimization strategy in cloud by analyzing workloads and make recommendations
Evaluating different products launched by cloud providers in context of customer need and providing enablement strategy
Guidance to automation engineers and review their automation scripts
Building DevOps Strategy in data platforms and tools
Generic Managerial Skills :
Experience in Agile development
Ability to drive workshops, solutions roadmap discussions
Product development mindset who can innovate solutions with cloud technologies
Education :
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field.
