Actimize tech lead developer

Duration : 6 month project

Location : Onsite in Pittsburgh, PA Dallas TX, Phoenix AZ, Cleveland OH (relocation is fine)

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Actimize solutions across AML/Fraud/Surveillance domains.
• Provide technical guidance to developers, ensuring best practices, coding standards, and solution quality.
• Collaborate with architects and business analysts to define technical requirements and solution architecture.
• Review solution design documents, code, and configuration to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

Development & Configuration

• Develop and customize Actimize models, strategies, and rules using Actimize Designer (ADS).
• Configure workflows, policy manager components, and case management using RCM.
• Build ETL mappings and batch processes using Actimize Intelligence Server (AIS).
• Implement UI/UX changes in Actimize ActOne or custom screens.
• Optimize Actimize jobs for performance and scalability.

Integration & Deployment

• Integrate Actimize with upstream/downstream systems (AML/KYC platforms, data lakes, core banking).
• Develop APIs, data feeds, and interfaces using Java, REST, MQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
• Manage deployments and release cycles using CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data-quality standards.

Support & Oversight

• Lead issue triage, root cause analysis, and production support.
• Coordinate with QA teams to develop test plans and automated test scenarios.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct technical training sessions.

Required Skills & Experience

Actimize Expertise (must-have)

• 5 10+ years experience in NICE Actimize implementation.
• Hands-on experience in:
  • AIS (Actimize Intelligence Server)
  • RCM (Risk Case Manager)
  • ActOne
  • IFM / SAM / WLF / CDD (any relevant modules)
  • Actimize Designer (ADS)
  • UDM / X-Sight Platform (optional but strong advantage)

Technical Skills

• Strong programming experience in Java / J2EE.
• Advanced SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with PL/SQL or T-SQL.
• Experience with ETL tools, data mapping, and high-volume data loads.
• Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, XML/JSON.
• Exposure to cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.

Additional Skills

• Strong understanding of AML regulations, KYC, sanctions, and fraud detection.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead development teams and coordinate delivery activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• NICE Actimize certifications (if available).
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop/Spark) is a plus.
• Experience with machine learning-based fraud/AML models (optional).
