Job Description:

Client is seeking to hire an Accounting Generalist, to manage the U.S. financial records for internal and external reporting, as well as other daily accounting functions. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. Ideal candidate should be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition. This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish long term success.

Principal Responsibilities:

Assist AR team in India by coordinating with Customers and sales team in US and resolving queries if any.
Assist AP team in India by coordinating with Vendors and employees in US and resolving queries if any.
Collect and maintain necessary records and documentation relating to US operations, lease, asset purchase, taxation, vendor agreements, customer agreements etc.
Coordinating with US Bank and credit card vendor in resolving issues if any faced by AP team.
Making entries in accounting software relating to AR, AP, Bank, Journal
Assist Finance team in Audit process by Coordinating with Auditor in US in cases where interaction with local person is required.
Help in compliances of state and federal tax laws.
Assist Finance team in preparation of Financial analysis and reports when needed.
Prepare and distribute various reports when needed.
Manage full-cycle payroll

Required Skills:
Around 3-4 years of Accounting experience with clarity in accounting concepts, preferably in a professional services organization.
Knowledge of State and Federal tax laws and other compliances will be preferred
Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Sense of urgency, great attention to details and ability to quickly shift gears without losing focus.
Excellent communication skills (in person, on the phone and via email)

Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
