Accela Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst / Tester Location: Seattle, WA Primarily remote. However, the client may require occasional on-site presence on short notice, and all proposed candidates must be able to accommodate such visits. Duration: Five-years contract Candidates who can work independly are more preffered Perform testing and regression testing of new and existing solutions. Document and track defects. Participate in the creation of new functional and technical specification documents with an eye toward precision and testability. Perform root cause analysis of defects in preproduction and production environments. Create and execute test cases, both manual and automated. Contribute to ongoing improvement of team QA processes, templates, and best practices. Collaboration: Consult on best practice approaches to implementation. Identify and correct defects. Liaison with the EPIC Team and Accela to document and remediate product defects. Stay up to date on new platform features and coach and mentor other SDOT XC Team members on how they apply to SDOT s Accela implementation. Provide estimated efforts and contribute to work planning. Roles & Responsibilities: Author and execute functional and regression test plans (manual & automated) Validate new Accela features/configurations Log and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Perform root-cause analysis of defects in staging/production Contribute to test process documentation and automation strategy Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in CS or related field + 5+ years QA experience At least 2+ years testing web-based or Accela platforms Skilled with SQL for data validation Familiarity with Agile teams and tools (Jira, TestRail) Certifications: ISTQB Foundation Level (preferred) Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or JMeter for automated testing
