JOB TITLE
Absence and Payroll Project Manager/Test Lead.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
Experience with Absence, Payroll, Time Reporting systems (Infor Workbrain, PeopleSoft HCM, Oracle Cloud HCM, Workday or similar), specifically in a support/testing or program/project management capacity.
Understand the interplay between the various process areas within Payroll as well as related systems (HR, labor accounting, etc.
Ability to complete concurrent complex Absence and Payroll projects without considerable direction.
Ability to sustain big picture and delivery focus in a high volume and changing environment with prioritization and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing and organizational skills and the ability to deliver across levels (executive to analyst

DESIRED SKILLS:
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Five or more years of experience leading projects in an Agile environment including user story, business rule and acceptance criteria definition.
Absence/HRIS, Time Reporting and Payroll experience.
Experience testing new functionality and features, as well as break fix solutions; collaborate with the business to review test results, collect sign-off for user acceptance testing.

JOB DUTIES:
Absence and time entry systems functional expert and handling project management for payroll/time entry systems for new feature development, application upgrades, system implementations, and defect fixes.
Manage multiple small yet complex and technical Absence and Payroll related projects.
Perform system and functionality testing and provide documentation and walk-throughs of requirements to testing evidence.
Update project progress and results relating to stage gates, testing and user acceptance.

Comprehensive responsibility and decision-making authority for plan, build, deliver, run, status and budget tracking/responsibility of broad-impact Payroll projects (end2end development and deployment) and programs.

Identify absence, payroll operations and upstream/downstream system impacts from complex requirements of projects inside and outside of immediate stakeholder groups.
Organize and lead teams to solve for Absence-impacting projects and issues via process and/or system changes.
Lead the adoption of test automation by creating and demonstrating test cases, working closely with SMEs and QA teams.

LOGISTICS:
Shift: This position is standard business hours (8am-5pm, or similar, based on needs of the business Typically weekend work is not required, only on major system issues or migrations, which is infrequent. No on-call work will be required .

OTHER: The Corporate Systems Group (CSG) Core PMO team is responsible for strategy and implementation of systems solutions that support ERP (Enterprise Resource Platform) and other applications for Finance, Accounting, AP, and Payroll. This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Payroll & Time Reporting PMO.
For Payroll-impacting projects of all sizes (small to transformational), the Project Manager/Test Lead identifies issues, requests and decisions that affect the Payroll and Time Entry/Absence aspects of shared applications and drives cooperative solutions for all stakeholders while ensuring that programs and projects are delivered on-time, fulfilling all strategic objectives. The lead also drives and coordinates user story identification and user acceptance testing (UAT) with Payroll and Absence SMEs (subject matter experts) across process teams (Absence, Processing, Payroll Tax, Audit and Compliance, Data and Reporting, Time Entry, User Experience, and Customer Service) as well as with related stakeholder teams (HR, Legal, Accounting, and various others
