Job Description:

We’re hiring a Lead Ab Initio Developer for a major banking data engineering initiative with Accenture.

This fully remote role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on ETL expertise, particularly in Ab Initio, and a passion for building data pipelines and reusable frameworks in cloud environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and develop ETL solutions using Ab Initio, PDL, and meta-programming.
  • Lead end-to-end data pipeline delivery, test planning, and defect resolution.
  • Work with AWS S3, Redshift, and Hadoop/Hive environments.
  • Support Agile ceremonies and coach junior developers on best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to transform, ingest, and validate large-scale datasets.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of Ab Initio experience in large-scale ETL projects.
  • Hands-on with AWS S3 and ideally Redshift.
  • Familiar with Hive, data ingestion, and real-time data streaming (nice to have: Pyspark).
  • Background in Banking/Financial Services is strongly preferred.
  • Solid communication and leadership experience in Agile teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • U.S.-based and authorized to work (any visa type accepted)
