Job Description :
Position: A/V Implementation & support Location: Raritan, NJ Job Type: Contract Rate : $ Negotiable Responsible for maintaining the audio and video conferencing infrastructure of the client which includes Cisco and Polycom Devices and Endpoints. Manage and Maintain Cisco VCS-C, VCS-E, TMS, ISDN gateways, MCU, Conductor, and SBC for video conferencing Understand and support the integration of Cisco and Lync and also handling reservation of conferencing rooms in Outlook Manage conferencing related devices including Crestron, Extron, Condeco etc. Manage Digital Signage and device and content management for the same. At times, would be required to support of client meetings and events including functionality and use of audio visual and presentation technologies via Skype Broadcast Overseeing the schedule of activities to ensure planning and support is provided as requested Act as AV support for local, and remote offsite meetings including occasional travel Perform preventative maintenance to resolve problem or identify resolution to appropriate vendor or manufacturer Troubleshoot AV/V problems last minute as required as well as non-critical situations Coordinates with Customer staff to determine AV/V and basic infrastructure requirements for any new conference room or media design Assist with company meetings/functions that require use of AV infrastructure (audio, video conferencing, webcasting, visual display or projection, and control system (Condeco, Crestron operations Interact with Help Desk ticketing system to respond to end user requests Gathering of data from support procedures, customer ticketing system, and other sources. Ensure all conferencing spaces are presentable for use Knowledge on ITIL process like SLA management with detailed understanding on classification of (P1, P2, P3, P4) Incidents(tickets), Change management. Good Troubleshooting, analyzing & managing the critical and problem tickets on Video issues. Good knowledge in preparing knowledge bases and standardize the Video end points configuration Create and maintain technical documentation (video end points, server configuration, etc Define and execute system health checks Provides support to clients in the assisted and independent use of audiovisual equipment to provide for high quality communication of information during all types of conferences and meetings Assist on AV services during Town Hall meetings and multiparty video conferencing events. Manage vendor relationship and Service Level support with Third Party AV Conferencing providers. Manage and coordinate all Third-Party vendors associated with third party AV Conferencing Services. Recommend upgradation of video servers and end points whenever new images are available in Polycom Maintain the server and end points licenses, and inform to management ahead of time Perform Conferencing System testing and use testing procedures to validate that individual components and the overall system are working correctly. Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with the manufacturers specifications for all Conferencing Systems. Good knowledge and administration experience on Polycom infra platform Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. A/V Implementation & support experience of at least 6-7 years. Experience on Cisco VCS-C, VCS-E, TMS, ISDN gateways, MCU, Conductor, and SBC for video conferencing is must. Videoconferencing experience including operation, call set-up and equipment troubleshooting (Cisco, Polycom, Microsoft Skype, etc Familiarity with signal flow AV Control experience including Crestron, Extron etc. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite High troubleshooting skills to resolve Level 3 Incidents with probable solutions Additional desired technology experience: Video Communications Tandberg Polycom H.320 and H.323 (Debug Level) SIP Troubleshooting (Debug Level) Understanding CUCM/VCS Traces Understanding Packet Captures LAN/WAN Understanding Cisco Collaboration products
