Requirements



4+ years of web application development experience and fluency with JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5

3+ years of experience developing using a JavaScript frameworks such as React JS, AngularJS, or Vue JS

Experience with developing enterprise-level, mission critical, high volume web-based software

Experience working in an Agile environment

Bachelor’s preferably in Computer Science/Engineering.

Responsibilities



Design and Develop high-performance web applications used by hundreds of thousands of users globally.

Promote consistent architecture patterns for design and development within and across CoStar development teams.

Use state of the art frontend technologies like HTML/CSS/LESS, JavaScript, React, Webpack and NPM to develop highly available applications that can scale to deliver customer-facing applications.

Use Javascript, Node.js, and AWS platforms to develop backend services that can serve and track volume in CoStar’s web and mobile products.

Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high-quality software delivery, sprint after sprint.

Leverage automation testing methods to increase test coverage and build confidence in CoStar’s continuous delivery pipeline.

Be an effective contributor to CoStar’s agile teams. Participate vigorously in SCRUM ceremonies and help the team to get to “done and done” consistently.

Collaborate on effective development practices and evangelize within and across teams

Continually evaluate emerging frameworks and technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that strengthen CoStar’s web products.
