Usability Specialist
The User Specialist will be responsible for designing and conducting user research, and identifying the best method based on research goals based on UX Improvements.
The Specialist is responsible for all aspects of research (planning, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting) for both generative(participatory design) and evaluative (usability testing) research.
You will be using a variety of user testing methodologies to reveal actionable user insights.
You should also be comfortable working with data, from gathering and analysis through to design and presentation.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Run Usability Studies and perform User Experience projects Consult with the development team throughout the process of implementing UX improvements
Work closely with the product management and patient safety team to identify research projects
Participate in recruitment activity for user research Promoting user centered design principles and best practice across the organization.
Working with data, from gathering and analysis through to design and presentation. Constructing insights gained from user research into formats to enhance organizational understanding of our users such as personas and user journey maps
Travel to User sites to study and report back on UX improvements
Requirements and qualifications
BA/BS degree In-depth understanding of UI design, human factors and user centered design processes
Experience conducting usability studies in the healthcare industry
Experience with qualitative and user-centered design methodologies
Working knowledge of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistics
