DUTIES
Develops understanding of operational business functions
Performs programming and configuration functions independently
Assists in analyzing and revising existing software as needed
Designs, codes, tests, documents and debugs new and existing applications
Adheres to and contributes to the definition of the SDLC standards
Writes and executes unit tests
Tests software written by other developers on the team, contributes to the creation of test cases
Creates deployment packages and provides support for promoting deployments through environments as needed
Participates in and leads technical design discussions
Participates in story pointing and task estimation efforts
Helps to break down user stories into development and testing tasks
Participates in all scrum ceremonies
Updates system of record with work item history and hours spent on each assigned task
Completes timesheets and submits for approval
Protects Personally Identifiable Information
Participates in code reviews for other team members and provides appropriate feedback
Other duties as assigned by IT management
EXPERIENCE
Experience in TIBCO BW 5 and 6, Administrator, TEA, EMS, ADB Adapter, BPM, Spotfire.
Strong Knowledge of TIBCO BW 6 Development and Deployments.
Proficient in creating RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and data structures to support enterprise systems.
Excellent knowledge about XML, XSD, XPATH, JSON.
Hands-on experience with the code promotion process for TIBCO suite of products - BW 5 and 6, EMS, ADB Adapter
Experience in defining and setting up logging and exception handling mechanisms.
Excellent debugging skills and ability to optimize code for performance tuning
Working experience of the installation process for TIBCO suite of products - TIBCO BW 5 and 6, Administrator, TEA, EMS, ADB Adapter, BPM, Spotfire and Hawk.
Experience in developing and consuming web services using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML
Experience in supporting systems in production environment.
Experience using source code controls like TFS, GitHub etc.
Experience in one or more of the following: XML/XSL, SQL, RAML, JSON
Successfully designed and deployed solutions using n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer)
Experienced in design and development of relational databases, normalization concepts, triggers, functions, and procedures. Ability to create, read and edit ER diagrams. Working experience in writing SQL queries and stored procedures
