Job Description:
Working with business and other key stakeholders to facilitate JAD sessions to understand analytical requirementsTranslate business requirements into target state conceptual models.
User firm-wide standards and design review process to develop logical/physical data models for implementation on target platforms like Teradat, Exadata and/or HadoopCreate target state solutions using Hadoop and other technologies within the Data EcosystemAdvanced knowledge of dat architecture,
design and business prcesses ODS and Data Warehouse environments12+years of strong experirence working in Data Warehouse environment with heavy emphasis on data modeling/data architecture involving dat analysis,design,
coupled with strong knowledge of end-to-end dat warehouse development life cycle (data integration,conceptual,logical and physical modeling)
Hands on experience with modeling tools, such as ERWIN or another industry standard tool and knowledge of vaiours features of modeling toolStrong experience in platforms like Teradat and/or Oracle with VLDBStrong SQL skills to pull data from Teradat/Oracle and perform usage analysis and/or data profilingExperience leading JAD sessions and assisting junior team members with defining dat model development methodologies, principles, standards and governance considering People and Process optimization aspects.Exposure and understanding of Big Data technologies and architectures - Hadoop, Cassandra, Green Plum, etc.
