Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Contract: 3-6 Months with possible extension
Location: Waltham, MA (must be onsite)
Position Overview:
Hybrid Pathways is looking for a Technical Project Manager that will be developing and documenting IT governance and lifecycle management policies and procedures to facilitate the deployment of application workloads to the Azure cloud.
In scope processes include development of “cloud adoption playbooks”, development of platform and infrastructure naming standards, implementation of cost management and resource utilization processes, backup and recovery procedures, inventory and asset management procedures and ongoing monitoring and alerting for all related processes.
Resource will work primarily with IT infrastructure teams to ensure that processes and services delivered for on-premises systems are mirrored in the Azure cloud environment.
Cloud application development relies heavily on DevOps methodologies and platform as a service component and all policies and procedures will need to support this framework.
Three days per week on site in Waltham, MA required
Required Skills:
Technical project management, coordinating and facilitating meetings to establish scope and execute on all project goals.
Review and documentation of existing on-premises processes with applicability to the Azure cloud.
Development and documentation of new policies and procedures for all in scope functions.
Coordination of information across various IT infrastructure leaders and subject matter experts.
Technical project management.
IT and Infrastructure Governance process development.
Strong technical, policy and process documentation skills.
Strong communication skills and “take charge” project management experience.
Preferred Skills:
Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform as a service.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science
