Job Title: Datastage Developer
Location: Houston TX

Experience in Datastage v9 or 11 and UNIX scripting
Proficiency in Oracle PLSQL Server is a MUST, with good understanding of database design and development.
Experience with very large databases and/or data warehousing.
Understanding of index design and performance-tuning techniques
Knowledge of Agile software development methodology and implementations
Code management best practices such as branching, merging, and integration strategies.
Develop and maintain tables, indexes, stored procedures, views, triggers and other objects utilizing the latest DML and DDL syntax.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead, participate in gathering business requirements, analysis of source systems, define underlying data sources and transformation requirements, design suitable data model, and develop metadata
Load data into a data warehouse and assist in the ongoing development of technical best practices for data movement, data quality, data cleansing and other ETL related activities
Manage the lifecycle of physical data models and data maps for data warehouse system
