Virtual Infrastructure Analyst
Location: Bartlesville, OK
Responsibilities:

The Virtual Infrastructure Analyst is a contributing member of the Global Virtual Infrastructure Team and may be responsible for:
Install, configuration, and maintenance of the VMware vSphere environment.
Troubleshooting ESXi and VMware critical events during call out period and daily operations
Build out and configuration of new ESXi hosts.
vCenter upgrades, new installs, DB migrations.
ESXi patching and upgrade compliance, firmware and driver compliance for various hardware platforms.
Participating in Follow the Sun support for global infrastructure servers.
Development of documentation and operating procedures for support of various new technologies.
Being available to perform tasks outside normal business hours and on weekends as well as being on call every 2-3 weeks.
Support of HPE BladeSystem Infrastructure.

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A strong work ethic, proving dependability, responsibility, and professionalism.
5 years’ experience with VMware vSphere with direct experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem solving for hardware, software, and OS.
Familiarity with various hypervisor technologies and virtualization concepts.
Advanced overall understanding of server technologies.
Familiarity with various public/private cloud technologies.

Preferred:
Self-starter and self-managed, with the ability to find work and see it to completion.
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, MIS or other IT/IS related major.
Familiar with vRealize Operations (vROps) for install, configuration, reporting, performance troubleshooting, capacity planning, etc.
Understanding of SAN, NAS, and various storage technologies.
Familiar with Backup technologies and Disaster Recovery methodologies.
Basic understanding of networking and switch technologies and terminology.
Understanding of firewall and DMZ concepts.
Knowledge of hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) technologies.
Support and configuration of vSphere Distributed Switches (vDS
Knowledge of vSphere 6.5 implementation, upgrade, configuration, and support.
PowerShell and VMware PowerCLI experience.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, proving the ability to work as a member of a team.
