Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in technology field or equivalent experience
Min 7 years of enterprise experience regarding design, build and run of a virtualized 1,000+ OSI environment utilizing High Availability, Replication and DR capabilities
Min 7 years of enterprise experience related to all listed platforms, including understanding detailed comparison of primary competitors of:
IBM AIX, Power, VIO including HMC
RedHat Enterprise Linux v7.x, v6.x
Min 3 years of enterprise experience related to technologies listed, including understanding detailed comparison of primary competitors of:
Automation and orchestration concepts including Perl, Puppet Enterprise, IBM BigFix Suite
SDS, software-defined storage on Dell/EMC ScaleIO
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification and expert knowledge experience supporting Linux virtualization in VMware technologies
ESXi on VMware vSphere v6.5/v6.0, vCenter, vRealize suites
Expert design abilities and experience including validating requirements, solutions engineering, project estimations
Advanced knowledge of SDN virtual switching technologies including Cisco ACI and VMware NSX capabilities and design attributes
Advanced experience in owning and driving creation and renewal of enterprise service and license agreements
Advanced knowledge of software packages or tools for processing or displaying data related to all listed: ServiceNow, Microsoft Excel, SQL Queries
Advanced knowledge and experience in automated robotics engineering – CLI, Perl, Puppet Enterprise, Cisco CloudCenter / C3
Advanced knowledge of software defined platforms including Cisco UCS, UCS Manager and UCS Central, Nutanix Prism, Dell/EMC ScaleIO
Advanced knowledge of IaaS design of on-prem private cloud, hybrid cloud and public cloud services and migration strategies
Advanced Knowledge of best practices in corporate information security policies, legal and regulatory obligations such as ITIL, Cobit, PCI, SOX, RBAC and equivalent standards
Advanced analysis and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze data from various sources to determine next steps
Proven ability to assess implications of proposed changes on processes and systems
Organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignment simultaneously
Negotiation skills with the ability to influence others by educating and sharing information
