ThingWorx Developer
Location: Plano TX
Position Type: Contract to Hire / Direct Hiring
Description:
* Good experience in PTC ThingWorx platform and JavaScript
* Strong experience in MES technologies, automated data collection, visualization, automated decision control, work flow, database applications and interface to ERP systems and plant level systems.
* Hands on experience in GE Proficy plant applications, including entire modules of GE Proficy Plant Applications including Quality Module, Efficiency module, Production and Product management, Scheduling and tracking module etc.
* Experience in Historian, OPC Server / Client
* Expertise in Microsoft SQL Data Base Management System (DBMS) and Structured Query Language (SQL
* Knowledge on Microsoft Server Operating Systems.
Good to have skills
* Development in ISO-certified environment/standards – S95, S88 etc.…
* Knowledge on .NET is added advantage
* Techno-functional experience in Manufacturing IT Solutions
Key responsibilities
* PTC ThingWorx platform system administration (Installation, architecture, PTC Thingworx components)
* PTC ThingWorx client SDK and edge development
* PTC mashup (views) creation and application development
* SPOC to work with Client on solution design, Development, implementation, Testing and to obtain technical clarifications from the onsite team on solution design, development and implementation
* Technical leadership in entitlement and access services for complex customer centric financial systems deployed across multiple countries and channels
* Work closely with end users to produce prototypes of ThingWorx based solutions and user interfaces and define end user analytical requirements
* Work closely with project Business Analyst, Data Architect and ETL Developer to ensure that the end to end designs meet the business and data requirements
* Work closely with Project Manager to develop and update the task plan for ThingWorx work and to keep the manager aware of any critical task issues and dependencies on other teams
