Job Description:
The NYSE-CON project encompasses all information about, and processes related to, the collection, storage, retrieval, analysis and dissemination of Certificate of Need (CON) information. CON information includes the data that facilities are required to submit to the Department as part of the approval process, including supporting information, as well as intermediate work-products developed by the Department as part of the review and approval process. CON information also includes work-flow information. Work-flow information describes the processes that support the collection, storage, retrieval and dissemination of the CON information and includes dates and times that an application has achieved various, yet to be determined, milestones.
This resource will also be available to other projects requiring testing assistance.
The Candidate will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of deliverables with the input of both contract and DOH project team members. Examples of responsibilities that will be required of the Candidate in this project include but are not limited to:
1. Provide guidelines, reviews and support to developers and business analysts creating unit tests and integrating them into the build cycles;
2. Manage testing activities, including UI automation, integration testing, performance and scalability testing
3. Review and provide guidance on the test scope and output of testers performing exploratory testing in development sprints;
4. Facilitate, record and capture information from demos and clinical validations;
5. Create status reporting mechanisms to monitor the status of the above activities;
6. Host integration discussions, with representatives of all test teams, identify and help resolve road blocks
7. Ensure that requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at each testing phase and final acceptance;
8. Prepare test protocols and reports which meet regulatory requirements, during the final test cycle;
9. Help keep test processes streamlined for efficiency;
10. Participate in Business Analysis requirement gathering meetings;
11. Create test plans;
12. Create test scripts;
13. Edit scripts;
14. Automate functional test scripts;
15. Performance testing;
16. Document lessons learned.

Candidates should have at least 84 months experience and a majority of the following should apply:
Each candidate should fill out the months of experience they have for each item in the table:
1. 84 months of experience planning, designing, developing and executing test strategies based on software specifications. Experience must include creating test plans, test schedules, test reports, and creating test strategies. #of months 15
2. 84 months of experience coordinating, tracking, and analyzing testing activities working directly with business analysts, business and technical subject matter experts. Experience must include hands-on use of defect management tools to identify, document, track and communicate problems to technical staff. #of months 15
3. 60 months hands-on experience recording and scripting automated functional tests. Experience must detail the use of specific automation tools and processes/methods used to create automated tests from manual functional tests. #of months 10
4. 36 months of experience scripting and executing Performance tests using HP LoadRunner. #of months 10
5. 36 Months experience using HP Quick Test Professional (QTP), Mercury, or HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT) to automate manual functional test scripts. #of months 10
6. 36 months direct hands-on experience as a Test / QA Lead working on large software development and data migration project(s Experience must detail team leadership responsibilities. #of months 5
7. 36 Months of experience creating user test scripts and managing User Acceptance Testing. #of months 5
8. 36 Months of experience in using HP Quality Center. #of months 5
9. 24 Months of experience in using Redmine #of months 5
