Job Description:
Under minimal supervision, the Senior Tester ensures quality of software products delivered within the software development life cycle.
The Senior Tester is responsible for developing and executing software testing components, developing automation suites, and performing manual tests as needed throughout the SDLC that ensures applications and projects meet defined quality standards
Responsible for identifying project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Create and execute complex test cases based on test strategies and plans.
Participate in reviews of system architecture, code and design documents.
Perform Independent Assurance on all SDLC phases in a project.
Design and Develop automation test suites using utilities, simulators, data generators, Backend or Web or API/Interface test tools as required to execute tests.
Actively participate in collaborative resolution of defects including root cause analysis of production incidents.
Continually look for ways to innovate and improve testing process to gain efficiencies.
Demonstrates business domain expertise in the project involved.
Effectively communicate testing activities, findings and project risk in oral and written formats.
Ensure compliance with Client technology policies and standards .
Oversee and mentor other junior and staff testers in test
Co-lead internal process improvement initiatives. Provide feedback on processes by offering suggestions.
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or STEM degree and 5 year of software testing and test automation or the equivalent combination of training and experience.

ETL | Big Data tools (for eg: Scala or Apache spark or other tools etc
