Job Description:
Test Automation Architect (TAA) is a senior automation person, who can see broader picture of business, technology and testing,
and Primary role would be client engagement with testing services and lead from front with all the test automation activities.
Responsibilities :
Design and build automated test cases with selenium in cucumber framework
Meet with business partners to understand business needs
Strong Communication skills to work with the development and the business teams on the progress
Contribute to the entire implementation process and implement right-fit test automation approach
Consult on Agile testing and test automation (accelerators, tools and partner''s products)
Work closely with business in identifying solution requirements and key case-studies/scenarios for the future solution
Lead implementation of the test plan/strategy from establishing project requirements and goals to solution "go-live"/steady stage/CoE
Participate in the full cycle of pre-sales activities: direct communications with potential customers, RFP processing, development of proposals for implementation
and design of the solution, presentation of the proposed solution to a customer, participation in meetings with customer representatives
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices
Mandatory skills:
Hands-on current experience authoring, building and adopting large scale, cross-functional automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, back-end integration, database levels
Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD, hybrid) and technology stacks (Java, .NET, JavaScript, Ranorex, etc
Ability to develop custom test automation methodologies and adapt them to clients’ reality
Integrate test automation into CI/CD process and instrument full SDLC automation, specifically cloud testing execution, reporting tools such as ALM, Jira
Improve process and quality via test and process automation: defining right strategy and technology based on process and architecture assessment by engaging different roles and stakeholders
Deep practical experience with cutting edge tools for Web, Mobile, Desktop, DB and Web-service testing (Selenium, Appium, SoapUI, etc
