Technical Writer will support IT and Information Security departments by creating technical and data-flow diagrams for the infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for the development of system documentation and data consumption / data flow process documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and maintain Systems Integration Diagrams, Information and Data Flow Diagrams, Data Definition Documents and Product Documents outlining systems capabilities and processes.

Develop data flow diagrams depicting data movement through data centric architectures - network, telephony, database, file transfer and information security architectures.
*
Ability to lead/collaborate with technical stakeholders, business stakeholders and vendors to understand existing system design and network connectivity.
*
Assists with the development and enforcement of methodologies and standards for data flow diagrams.
*
Assists with creating document repositories and developing repository structures
*
Strong communication skills: ability to be well organized, clear and concise in conversations and written communications.

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
*
A solid functional understanding of Information Technology components (servers, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
*
Experience in creating enterprise network and system diagrams, including mapping the flow of information within these systems.
*
Proficient in MS Office and Visio.
*
Write and edit technical documents and reports.
*
Communicate formally and informally with internal stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
