Overview

The Enterprise Technology team provides the necessary infrastructure and services to host, develop and test business applications. Services include but are not limited to: infrastructure provisioning and support, application installs and deployments, network design and implementation, certificate management and production support.



We are looking for a Software Engineer / Tableau Developer to join our Operations Team. We will work together to develop Tableau dashboards/reports that will illustrate team metrics and progress toward goals.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, able to drive projects forward with limited supervision, and will have the ability to collaborate closely with multiple levels of management to uncover requirements. They will have expertise in Tableau, relational database environments and SQL.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for accessing disparate sources of data and integrating these sources of information into a common and interactive platform through Tableau. Design dashboard visualization tailored to customer needs and ensuring flawless integration within the reporting framework.
Analysis: Perform analysis to build Tableau Extract data sources leveraging existing data marts, warehouses and JSON data extracted from Application repositories. Technical expert in the identification of solutions meeting complex business needs that facilitates automation and drives self-service.
Deployment: Performance test and deploy dashboards onto Tableau Server to enable broad distribution.
Support: Develop clear and concise documentation for delivered tools to ensure proper support going forward.
Quality: Attention to detail and appreciation for need to consistently generate high quality, highly sensitive output.
Education and Experience

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience in reporting / analytics. 3+ years of experience working with Business Intelligence, Analytics and / or Data Warehouse technologies
Experience designing and developing dashboards using Tableau including Desktop, Server, and web variants, using best practices and industry standards
Expert level skills in building highly used & adopted custom reports and dashboards
Expert level ability to analyze data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies
Strong problem solving skills,
Strong communication skills (verbal and written),
Strong analytical skills
Strong testing skills
Flexibility to work well within a technical team & portfolio managers and executives
Python / Django development experience a plus
