Job Description :
Required Experience:
3- 4 years of experience with Linux Administration
3- 4 years of experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
3-4 years of experience analyzing software upgrade issues
3-4 years of experience with server upgrades
Good to have – familiar with Ansible and Puppet/Spacewalk, POS

Position Duties:
Assists with Application installations, specifically for the Point of Sale at the store.
Performing some manual tasks that vary per rollout.
Troubleshoot and analyze upgrade issues.
Work with IST Triage support to upgrade OS and Application. Analysts would escalate issues as they occur and suggest mitigation steps.
Tasks could also include: Executing SQL statements or scripts, Executing Unix commands, Installing apps, Documenting actions taken.
Assists with Linux upgrade installations, specifically for the in-store server (ISS
Analyst should be able to independently troubleshoot and analyze installation issues.
Work with POS Triage Analysts to support the upgrade of the OS and applications.
