Job Description :
Position: Systems Support Analyst
This position is responsible for serving as the department’s technical and business expert in design, development, troubleshooting, testing of systems to support business needs, on assigned financial systems. Designs, develops and tests interfaces, upgrades, and improvements. Works closely with IT and serves as liaison between technical and functional areas, translating business needs into implementation requirements. Performs the research necessary to create technical designs and logical functionality which will ensure that business application systems can be effectively developed and implemented to meet actual business needs. This position does not involve hands-on programming but focuses on the analysis, definition and logical design of hardware/software systems.
Proficient with SQL (Oracle or Microsoft) and similar systems. Interpret and/or repair code (SQL, Excel VBA, and Access Databases) to resolve system errors. PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook. Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills.
