Job Description:
Managing and provisioning NetApp (NFS) and EMC storage arrays Storage array skills to administrate and monitor the NetApp and EMC storage arrays in the Bloomberg environment.
SAN and Storage design and architectural skills to maintain the overall SAN and Storage environment according to Bloomberg best practices in support of client support level agreements.
Initiate and track service calls as needed Documentation skills for documenting the SAN and Storage environment, capacity and performance reporting, and issues and resolution tracking documentation Any other daily requirements for the SAN and Storage Arrays including Brocade Switch management, zoning, etc.
Perform other functions as required within the skill set of the individual as scoped in this SOW and as directed by Bloomberg Develop and/or execute Perl/Python scripts based on the requirements of the customer including standing up and decommissioning arrays from a software configuration perspective.
