Job Description :
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general direction from User Interface lead and project manager, create sophisticated, modular web content using html5, CSS3 and Javascript.
Translate static web design comps into functional and performant web page layouts and components.
Coordinate development work with other UI developers to prevent code conflicts and ensure DRYness of the codebase.
Assure web server and site technical performance.
Develop code with an eye for visual detail as well as WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility considerations.
Communicate progress, concerns and code dependency information to tech leads on a daily basis.
Routinely identifY areas within the web application where refactoring can produce a cleaner, more maintainable result.
May make hardware and/or software purchasing recommendations or decisions regarding web development.
May perform overall administration of sites at a company-wide level.
Requires knowledge of commercial internet/web tools and protocols.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years related experience.
Advanced computer software skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Prefer experience working in medium to large scale team environments.
Must have familiarity with modern web standards and techniques, including responsive layouts and web accessibility testing.
