Job Description:
Client is looking for a Senior Python developer to code and maintain
applications across the portfolio. The developer must have expert command of
modern Python application patterns, libraries such as Django or Flask.
Experience with other libraries in the NLP or AI space. In addition, the
developer have worked with Javascript and libraries such as Angular, data
visualization libraries such as HighCharts, HighMaps, and D3.js. The
candidate must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of
stakeholders and collaborate with various teams to deliver projects with a
high level of accuracy and personal responsibility.
Responsibilities
Develop rapid prototype applications
Be able to build out production python applications with
appropriate enterprise level features including authentication,
authorization, logging etc
Collaborate with UX engineers and designers to implement
solutions
Integrate and deliver functionality with different backend
teams during development life cycle
Ensure requirements are met throughout development efforts
Ensure code is in compliance with style guides and pattern
libraries
Required Qualifications:
Python design patterns
Modern Python Libraries (Flask,Django)
Proven experience developing Python applications
Experience in Data Visualization concepts (Charts, Maps,
Interactive Graphics)
Hybrid mobile technologies (PhoneGap, Titanium, etc
Advanced knowledge of source control and build process for
Python & Javascript applications
Preferred Skills
Responsive Design
Understanding of UX best practices
