With general supervision, responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing government mandate, application and system implementation projects using a formal project management methodology. Manage multiple moderate to large complex projects concurrently. Oversee the system development lifecycle process for all projects. Develop detailed plans and schedules, including goals, risks, and resource allocations. Monitor project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule. Adhere to Project Management Office policies, procedures, and methodologies. Coach individuals on project teams. Oversee client/customer relationships to ensure that service expectations are developed and met. Complete other duties as assigned.

Bachelor''s Degree required; in related field preferred
Minimum of five (5) years related experience required
Knowledge of government mandates, benefits and healthcare products and three (3) years of project management experience in health plan operations or related field
Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and verbal and written communication

Extensive knowledge of the Project Management Institute''s standards and terminology as well as Agile methodology
Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
Ability to balance multiple priorities

Ability to:
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint and Teams
Work independently within guidelines, responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects
Concurrently manage multiple medium to large complex projects
Develop detailed project plans and schedules including goals, risks and resource allocations
Work closely with the technical support team in understanding and resolving systems issues
Develop, implement and monitor policies and procedures
Monitor project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost or schedule
Adhere to project management policies, procedures and methodologies
Analyze issues, risks and other data to shape appropriate solutions
Coach and mentor individuals on project teams
Oversee business, operations and IT relationships to ensure service expectations are developed and met
Negotiate with cross functional teams to drive optimal project implementations
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Effectively communicate with project teams and other groups
Successfully interact with peers, all levels of management as well as other disciplines

Other Proficiencies:
Experience using multiple project development methodologies including PMI and Agile
Experience in writing routine agendas, minutes, reports and other correspondence
Experience in managing vendor relationships
Strong decision analysis capabilities
Strong leadership capabilities
Highly self-driven and self-motivated
Project Management Professional Certification preferred
Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job
Salesforce environment experience is a plus
