JOB OVERVIEW
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
The client uses Oracle 12c as the primary database for their regulatory system. Microsoft SQL Server is used for the data warehouse, SharePoint, and Imaging systems. The client is also in the process of migrating all server hardware, which includes migrating the Oracle databases to an EXADATA platform and virtualizing the SQL Servers.
The Contractor is responsible for administering the Oracle 12c database in multitenant mode. The candidate should have in depth knowledge about disaster recovery using Oracle Active data guard, Database tuning, SQL tuning, Database Design Data Administration, Data View Creation & Management, Data Warehouse Development and Management, and Data Backup & Recovery. Tasks are performed to ensure data system availability throughout the development and testing lifecycle and production use of mission critical systems.
Candidates with extensive experience in PL/SQL, Debugging stored procedures, ETL will be preferred.
