Position: Java Developer
Location: West Nasa oulevard Melbourne, FL
Visa – all for contract
Duration: 12 Months
In this role you will:
Provide Movement Planner application support working closely with the customer support team, to diagnose and resolve customer reported software/ configuration issues and anomalies
Partnership with product development, and test teams for Hotfix, Maintenance Releases and bugs/feature requests
Install and configure the product suite and create test cases to isolate configuration issues and product defects
Improve our product knowledge base, build knowledge centric support
Work as Tier-3 software support engineer and work closely with customer support team (Tier-1 and Tier-2)
Work as an individual contributor and take guidance from software technical leader
Work in an environment of developers using open source development tools.
Technical Expertise:
Hands on programming experience and knowledge of C++, Java, and Oracle
Ability to work on multiple problems simultaneously
Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics
Strong familiarity with Linux OS and performance optimizations
Robust understanding of database technologies and performance optimization
Experience with Scrum/ Agile development
