Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced ETL Engineer who can help us to analyze, design and load data based on Business requirement of existing applications. This is a great opportunity to work on leading edge technologies.
ETL developer should have experience with both on server side development technologies and ETL, including relational and non-relational databases design, API, external integration. Developer should understand all phases of software development cycle, especially in agile methodology. Developer has the ability to understand business functions and user stories, decompose them into technical specifications, and develop working application code for a cloud environment.
Experience with cloud deployments, continuous integration and deployment pipeline and tools, security and infrastructure will be preferred.
Required Skills:
ETL analysis, design and implementation using Apache Spark, Python and MySQL
Relational and non-relational database experience using major databases such as MySQL and Redis, MongoDB;
Experience with database design and development;
Experience in design and implementation of RESTful API;
Experience in continuous integration and delivery;
Experience with AWS environment and deployment;
Experience with Git;
Strong problem solving skills;
Must have hands on skills (minimum of 2 years) - Spark, MySql, AWS & AWS Glue
Nice to have experience with Snowflake and Alteryx
The ETL Developer will:
Work on (MySQL, SPARK, Python) stack, along with AWS Cloud deployments.
Apply industry standards, and best practices;
Develop and consume APIs using HTTP/Rest;
Develop systems for event driven architecture;
Exposure to relational / non-relational DB;
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Minimum 10 years of experience software development experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing ETL process and backend service
Experience with integration technologies and platforms
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and MVC patterns
Programming skills in other languages like Go will be preferred
Experience with MySQL and NoSQL data stores
Experience with systems across multiple platforms Windows, Linux and UNIX
Experience with the open source software
Excellent understanding of enterprise security practices
Good understanding of Agile development and continuous integration
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Deliverable:
Work on (MySQL, Express, React, NodeJS) stack, along with AWS, REST and JSON.
Apply industry standards, and best practices;
Develop and consume APIs using HTTP/Rest;
Develop systems for event driven architecture;
Exposure to relational / non-relational DB;
Skills on at least AngularJS and Angular 2+ frameworks;
Develop front end using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
