Sr. Computer Systems Programmer

1) OpenInsight (OI) experience
2) Business analytical skills (communicating and working with the business to determine requirements)
3) Working in a team environment
Need someone who can work on projects with a number of other developers. Minimum Qualifications A bachelor's
degree in Computer Science or related field Minimum five years of practical experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Advanced Revelation and Open Insight Minimum two years of gathering business requirements from different business groups to develop application functional design A demonstrated knowledge of Desired Qualifications Five years of experience with utility billing Experience in supporting functional or business users Pacific Gas and Electric Company is an AA/EEO employer that actively pursues and hires a diverse workforce.
Responsibilities:
Daily operations and maintenance support of the OpenInsight application. Gathering business requirements and creating functional requirements of the application Provide daily support to testing group of developed projects Provide cross training to remaining team on developed projects Follow all safety procedures and complete all mandated safety training requirements. Fosters a safety culture. A desire to learn and follow our standards especially with regard to customer (ie "Z") objects, configuration management, and SOX testing and documentation requirements. A proven ability to be self motivated with the ability to set and meet deadlines. Ability to build relationships with business process owners, architects, project managers, process managers, relationship managers and operation management are required. Ability to work in a matrixed environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially the ability to clarify and define user requirements with respect to system functions, schedules and coordination among groups.
