Job Description :
Job title: Sr. Business Analyst
Duration: Contract to Hire
Location: Cincinnati, OH

Job Description:
Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business solutions and business requirements.
Experience in development and execution of test plans and test cases.
Experience in gathering business requirements in an insurance (preferably P&C) company a must.
Knowledge of the Claim Center application is a plus.
Ability to read/decipher data models/schema.
Ability to read and write SQL queries.
Knowledge of TOAD application helpful.
Data warehouse concepts to include understanding of front-end data entry and back-end data consumption.
Ability to read and understand XML.
Knowledge of ETL.
Experience on Agile/Scrum teams.
Scrum master experience.

Qualification:
5 or more years of related experience that includes some knowledge of designing, testing, debugging, documenting and / or maintaining applications required or using application software in a business setting.
Knowledge of insurance coverage verification.
Ability to read and write SQL queries.
The job entails gathering business requirements, working with the developers and QA team for the implementation of the requirements.
Perform project management tasks or Scrum Master Tasks as required on projects.
